Welcome to the new apple_scruff!
Like so many others, I have left LiveJournal. There were a number of events that transpired that encouraged this move, but the straw that broke the camel's back was when I saw that ugly ad banner in the middle of my layout. It's not there when I'm logged in, but it's there when I'm not. The only reason I stayed after said events was because I could keep my free status ad free, but since that is no longer the case it's time to end my long-time relationship with the beast known as LJ.

I would love it if you would all do the same. InsaneJournal is already a billion times better than LJ and it can only improve from here. It's so easy to transfer your journal entries over, I have transferred several of my more memorable entries, and, though it'll take a lot of patience and time, you CAN have a customized layout. I'm still working out the kinks in this one, but I'm just happy to have a non-default layout at the moment I couldn't care less. And the oodles of userpics for FREE make me so very happy.

I'm not deleting my account on LJ because of the communities I'm in, but all further updates I make will be posted here. I plan on catching up with the many concert entries I have neglected to post, though they will all be audio entries. I'm WAY too lazy to type them all up. :P

Anyway, I hope you bookmark this journal if you don't crossover to InsaneJournal. If you have and are under a different username please let me know.
