Christmas was/is alright. I had to work today, but other than that it was alright. As promised, I DID NOT buy a single gift this year from any of the stores on the list. The gifts included a dvd, an ornament, and a book.

The gifts I received this year were - and I'm going to put my initial reaction to said gift in parentheses after I name them - gummy bears (woo!), pickup sticks & jacks (?), $100 gift card (YES!), Cars calendar (okay, cool), Denis Leary comedy set dvd (OMG!!), John Lennon action figure (...okay), and Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em (!!!). The best gifts I received were the Denis Leary dvd from my friend, Rachel, and Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em. RE,SE is amazing because, where I work they get donations all the time and someone donated the RE,SE robots. Rachel and I had found them and spent, like, ten minutes trying to beat each other and it was super fun. Then we put the toy back and some weeks later there they are under the tree! So amazing and I can't wait to tell Rachel about it - she'll get a good laugh out of it. I thought I would be more happy about the Lennon figure but...it's kind of...ugly. It looks like him and it doesn't at the same time and I think it leans more on the doesn't than does. It was completely unexpected so that's good, but I'm still not sure I like it. -shrugs-

I hope everyone else had a safe and happy holiday (pc, ftw!)! I'm off to either watch Denis or sleep.
